This picture makes me laugh everytime I look at it!!

She manages to get herself in all sorts of awkward positions!

Is this normal???

Ok... I dunno if we just have 'special' animals or if cats really do this... but I caught them drinking out of the toilet!!! Our dog NEVER does this but for some reason, our kittys think the porcelain thrown is their drinking bowl!

Fun at the cabin

So last weekend Tren and I went up to my family's cabin for the weekend! We had so much fun! We borrowed my in-laws mule and took the family on some rides! We spent the whole weekend just laughing and joking! I stinkin love my family! And I love how Tren fits right in!

Here's a bunch of us getting ready to go for the first ride of the day. Me, Brindyn and Tren are in front and Dannion, Stephen and Sean are in back!

Tren got this great idea to let Brindyn drive. It took some encouraging but she finally gave in and did it! She loved it except for the fact she had to keep her eyes open! I dunno if you can tell, but her eyes are almost closed! SCARY!

Beans and spaghetti sauce

I wasn't kidding when I said bottling! We also did beans (thanks to my dad for growing and picking them for us) and spaghetti sauce! Tren learned pretty fast he did NOT enjoy bottling beans! Snipping them took FOREVER!! So five bags and over 60 pints later... we are set with beans for a couple of years ;)

This isn't even all of it! We did a few more batches of both beans and spaghetti sauce!

T was such a trooper to do this with me! I have the best husband EVER!!

That time of year....

It is that time of year... bottling!! Growing up, we bottled something almost every year and it was something I really learned to enjoy!! Plus, it saved us money which of course appealled to me too! So, I thought this year since T and I just bought our new house which had plenty of space for our garden that we would plant an extra large garden so we could bottle! I don't think Tren realized what he was getting himself into when he married me ;)

We started off with beets and salsa about a month or so ago! We were hoping to bottle more beets than we did but I guess we underestimated how many beets we should have planted LOL Now we know better for next year! The beets were pretty easy and it went fast!

The salsa took a litte bit more time than the beets! There's a lot more choppin to do and cleaning the seeds out of the peppers took awhile!

Geech (cat) and I were exausted after bottling! Tren was sweet to get a picture of me slacking while he was finishing up :) But, in my defense, I had worked the night before and came right home and we started bottling, so I was pretty darn tired!

Utah Game

Well the Utes have another victory! We played against Louisville with the final score of 30-14!! Wahoo!! It was a fun game! Before the game, Tren and I met up with family and friends for some tailgating fun!

Here is Tren is picking on his nephew Hudson! Well actually, I was trying to get a picture of the two of them and Hudson wouldn't cooperate. . .So we forced him! :) You gotta love aunts and uncles!

New toy

This has been Tren's baby for a long time!! Long before I ever came into the picture! LOL His Blazer was a lot of fun most of the time and we have a ton of good memories with it, but it came time to get rid of it and up grade to something we both enjoyed! :) Especially me since I have always struggled driving this humongous monster truck!

This is our new Ford truck!! We love it!! Tren loves it so much that I NEVER get to drive it!! It has been so fun! We finally have a second vehicle I feel comfortable driving!! YAY! LOL
