Visitors

We had the pleasure of having Gary and Kim come visit us over the weekend! It was so much fun spending time with them!  

Tren was cooking his famous ribs and Gary was sweet to keep him dry while Tren was working his magic.  I was cracking up when I saw this and had to get a picture!  I mean, come on, what are friends for?  To keep you dry of course!

We had so much fun having them stay the weekend with us!  We sure miss them and can't wait for their next visit!

Pumpkin patch fun

It's Piper's first Halloween which means it's time to go pick out our pumpkins!  Piper was in a great mood and was loving watching all the kids play at the pumpkin patch.

 With Daddy's help, we found the perfect one

We have one happy girl loving her first Halloween!

Stats are in

Piper had her 6 month check up (2 weeks late) and the stats are in.....

20.5 lbs (up 1.5 lbs from last month)

26.5 in tall (she is 1/2 an inch shorter than last month - lol)

This cute girl has been so much fun!  A little bit about her right now...

*Sits up by herself

*Hairs stands straight up no matter what I do

*She is getting up on all fours but hasn't quite figured out how to crawl (thank goodness)

*She rolls where ever she needs to go (which happens to be everywhere)
*Has two teeth which came in within two weeks of each other and she tolerated teething beautifully.  Both Tren and I were shocked when the first one came and even more shocked 2 weeks later to see the second one because she wasn't very fussy.

*Favorite pet is Diesel - they play all day together

*Loves playing with her friend Emma, who is 3 months older than her and so much fun (not to mention, we adore Emma's mom too)

*LOVES all vegetables and most fruits but is not a fan of meat 

*She says her blah's, ma's, and no's.

*Piper continues to love the outdoors and we go on walks almost daily

*Really enjoys her baby Einstein but loses interest after about 15 minutes

*Her gorgeous blue eyes are here to stay and she has dirty blond hair

*She is a social butterfly.  She literally entertained everyone at the DMV when the computers crashed and we were waiting for over an hour and a half for them to fix the problem.

*Her sleeping has improved - we are now sleeping 6-8 hours on a good night but will still occasionally be up every 4 hours.

*And last, but not least, has the CUTEST fat rolls on her thighs and arms!  I just love them!

Needless to say, this is one LOVED little girl!

Our first visitors

Grandpa and Grandma Hagman came to visit and help us move into our new home.  They were such a big help with Piper so Tren and I could unpack and clean without interruption.  Piper was spoiled with so much love and attention by her grandparents.  She loved every second of it!  (as did Grandma and Grandpa)

 We love our patio, especially Piper.  We spending a lot of time out there almost daily since moving in.

 Yep, I guess it was me.  My smile says it all!  Piper continues to be a fantastic eater!

We were sad to say goodbye to grandma and grandpa.  We can't wait for our next trip to Utah to see all of our family and friends!

Something to make you smile

Every time I look at this kiddo, I can't help but smile!  Those kissable cheeks, delicious thighs and glamorous smile makes our world spin!

 

 I can't help but be grateful to be this little gals Momma!  Feeling pretty blessed!

Fun in Boulder

A couple of weeks ago we decided to get out of the hotel and spend the day in Boulder. (one of my favorite places to go) There is always so much to do there!  We just happened to be there while they were having a festival by the river.  Pip had fun dipping her toes in the cold water, hanging out in the stroller, and taking in all the craziness of the festival.

 You wouldn't know it by her face but she LOVES walks in her stroller!  One of the few things that kept us sane throughout our stay in the hotel!

It's official

 Well folks, it's official, we are home owners again and it feels FANTASTIC!  We are so in love with our new house.  We have a fantastic neighborhood and have met so many wonderful people!  We are feeling very blessed!

The projects have begun and we are slowly but surely making our house our home.  Many have expressed interest in seeing before and after pictures.  I will be posting them slowly as we finish each room.  So keep checking back... in the mean time, I will keep you posted on the latest and greatest things happening in our lives!

Trip to the mountains

Last month my sister came to visit us.  She was here for work but stayed a little longer to spend some time with us.  I am sooo glad she did!  I have missed her!  We picked her up in Breckinridge, which is a cute town up in the mountains.  It reminded us a lot of Park City.  While we were waiting to meet up with Shaline, we took a chair lift up to a resort.

It was so pretty up there.  The leaves were just starting to change, the whether was still warm and it was such a fun atmosphere.  Here's Piper and I before we go on the lift.

 Me having a minor panic attack.  I DO NOT do heights very well.  I thought I would be fine but lets just say I probably won't be going on another lift anytime soon.

 I guess we were so excited that Aunt Shaline was here that we forgot to take pictures!  This is our only one and as you can see, Piper is loving all the love and attention she is getting from her Aunt!
