Gary and Kim's wedding

Tren and I were able to go to our good friends wedding while we were in Utah last week.  Gary and Kim were beaming!!  We were so happy to be able to share this amazing day with them.

Piper's blessing

Piper was blessed on July 22, 2012 at her Grandpa Nelson's home.  My dad performed the blessing and it was beautiful!!  Kim made Piper's dress and it turned out gorgeous!! 

My dad and Kim really made this whole event happen and took care of everything!!  Thank you so much guys!!  I don't think this day would have happened had you guys not done this for us!  It was a fantastic day!

Grand Lake

Tren and I will be going to my family reunion up at Grand Lake, CO in two weeks.  We figured since we are less than 2 hours away, we would go check it out.  We LOVED it!!  The lake is GORGEOUS!  The town was sooo cute and fun!  We are so glad we did it!  Now we can't wait to finally go camping (for the first time this year, sad, I know) up there and explore some more with my family!  I also can't wait for Tren to meet my crazy Cluff side of the family!  He's in for a treat!  (Luckily, I know he will fit right in)

Here is Piper's first time at the lake!  Daddy dipping her toes in the water and that was all she was willing to get wet.  The water was a bit chilly!

 This little lady was a BIG hit with everyone.  So many people stopped us and commented on how cute Piper is and how they loved her shades!  I couldn't agree more with everyone!  I have the cutest little baby ever!!

We are loving exploring Colorado and all it has to offer!  Can't wait for our next adventure!

I know everytime I look at this girl, I can't help but smile!  I just love her!

Piper Darz is now 3 1/2 months old and a happy, smiley little girl!

Visit to SLC

Our last night in Salt Lake, Tren and I were able to go out on a much needed date since we had a handful of babysitters to choose from.  Thank you, thank you my amazing babysitters!  Tren and I had a blast, as did Piper and all the Nelsons!  I typically have anxiety leaving my little girl, however, I didn't stress once while out on my date.  (huge compliment to my dad and siblings)

 Piper is strictly a breastfed baby.  She is not a fan of the bottle, so this was her face when my dad whipped out the bottle to feed her.  My sister text me this picture while Tren and I were out and about.  We cracked up laughing when we saw this.

 Fortunately Piper did pretty good with the bottle.  Aunt Brindyn is an excellent babysitter and bottle feeder!

 Nothing like a piano lesson while hanging out with Uncle Stephen.  Eventually it will be piano and voice lessons!  Can't wait!

We loved spending time with the family while we were in town!  Can't wait for our next visit!

Visiting friends

Piper and I went to visit our friends Mallory and Breea while the hubby's took off to Mesquite for a bachelor party.  Piper was loving the attention from Mallory!

 The girls were SOOOO cute!  They just stared at each other and were smiling!

 Piper is about 6 weeks older than Breea!  Mallory and I were planning on play dates and getting the girls together all the time when we found out we were both pregnant with girls.  Now that we have moved, we are going to have to change our plans and plan vacations together instead. 

We had a blast seeing our girlfriends!  Can't wait until next play date!

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July visiting family in Utah.  We started off the trip up at my family's cabin where Tren helped with the new addition for our growing family and a much needed enclosed front porch!

 Piper and I sat back and watched dad, grandpas, uncles and cousins working hard on the cabin.

 Uncle Stephen with miss Piper as she rocks her new diva shades.  She did surprisingly well not trying to take her shades off.  Tren and I figure she will be wearing glasses in no time since both of us have rotten eye sight.  We have her practicing with plastic sunglasses first, not to mention she looks SO STINKIN cute in them!

Pa pa with Pip.  This was one of the few times she was quiet that night.  She was not a happy camper for the 4th of July!  Too tired and too much stimulation!  Luckily she recovered and the rest of our stay in Utah was GREAT!

Wide range of emotions

Piper has been cracking us up lately!!  She has been interacting with us so much!  She is starting to mimic what we do with our mouths, she will 'talk' to us and of course be unsure of what her emotion is at any given moment!

She goes from this...

 and back to this in 30 seconds flat!

We just love this gal!
