Weeks 24-27

More weekly belly pictures!

I am carrying her pretty high and it's getting ridiculously difficult to breath. Tren frequently asks if I am ok because I will just be sitting there and I am practically panting and don't even realize it. Oh well, it's totally worth it. Hopefully she drops a little lower in the near future!

24 weeks

25 weeks

26 Weeks

27 weeksHow far? 28.5 weeks

How big is baby? 2.5 plus pounds and over 16 inches long

Total weight gain or loss? Not really kickin butt in this area anymore. I am up 17 lbs from my prepregnancy weight. (yes, that's 11 lbs in 4.5 weeks, YIKES!) Doctor insists it's fine but I am having a hard time being ok with it. I blame the fruit roll up and gusher cravings.

Maternity clothes? I finally HAD to go and get maternity pants. Mine were getting so uncomfortable. It's much better now. Now it's getting time to get some shirts because most of mine are beginning to look like belly shirts. (not pretty)

Symptoms? I am having some round ligament pain but it's tolerable. Still having the regular headaches but the migraines have improved (woot woot) So I can't complain, things are going pretty good right now.

What I miss? Still miss being able to get things done around the house or make it up a flight of stairs without gettting winded.

Cravings? Still can't get enough fruit roll ups and gushers. I literally hoover them when I buy a box!

Best moment this week: She is kicking harder and harder. I love being able to see her move. I will be sitting in my office at work and look down and watch her move all around. It's crazy to see my belly move! I can't wait to meet this little girl!

Sigh of relief

We did it! We made a quick trip over to Denver - spent 3 busy days looking at SEVERAL different communities and over 30 homes. We have narrowed it down to 3-4 communities we are interested in moving to and our future home criteria. (which is going to make our poor real estate agent's job a lot easier)

I think we are going to really like it over there. It's similar in a lot of ways to Salt Lake but also different enough. We are really excited about this opportunity but it's also pretty nerve racking. (well, nerve racking for me because we are going to be going through some REALLY big life changes - new baby, new home, new community, job adjustment for Tren, no job for Chylie, no family close, etc)

This quick trip has taken a lot of stress off our shoulders (well, my shoulders because Tren doesn't tend to stress out like I do). We now need to focus on selling our fabulous home here so we can start making offers on the homes we want in Denver. Wish us luck!

Christmas

Christmas was great! We spent Christmas Eve and early Christmas morning with the Nelsons and spent Christmas Day and Night with the Hagmans. Lots of great memories were made.

The Nelson's Christmas EveChristmas afternoon we were able to spend a couple of hours with Grandma Hagman. We looked at old pictures of her and Grandpa when they were dating and got to hear a lot of stories about the family! She is an amazing woman who we just adore!
We then had a fantastic Christmas dinner at Tren's parents house and were able to see what Santa brought.

The Hagman family.
I hope everyone had a fun and memorable Christmas!
