Campin with Friends

We have been on a few camping trips this summer.  We are trying to get to know our new home! We have met some great friends who also love to camp AND have a kiddo too so they TOTALLY get the chaos that comes with camping with a little one. 

Our friends took us up to Silverthorne, CO recently and we loved it!  We had a perfect camp site right by the reservoir.  The weather was amazing and we all had a blast!

 My child is fearless (which TERRIFIES me)..... she walked right into the freezing water (yep, fully clothed) like it was no big thang.  It was too cold for me but luckily daddy got in with her to swim for a minute.  Piper was in heaven!

Oh boy..... it's been awhile!  Life just got too busy!  I started this post MONTHS ago, so I am going to go ahead a publish it then try to catch all you fab blog readers up on what's going on with this Hagman gang.

 

My baby is ONE!!  Where has the time gone!  She is getting so big, so stinkin fast!

We began her big day by opening gifts sent from family back in Utah.  Piper loved all the great presents!  She is definitely one loved little girl!

 Piper's FIRST taste of sweets.  I am very careful about what goes into my baby's body.  She eats LOTS of fruits and vegetables in their natural state and VERY little processed stuff, so she really didn't know what to think about this cake.

 Luckily she did a lot of playing ....
