Piper is growing up so fast! I am loving each new phase we are entering in! I am one lucky mama to have such a happy girl! She cut her first tooth at the beginning of September and I can honestly say that she wasn't very fussy! (lucky me) Now if we can just get her back to sleeping through the night then I think we [no, I] will be good!

Just Sayin
I loved this and felt the need to share it with y'all!
I need to remember this when I start to feel a little self pity! (Because lets be honest, we all do at some point or another. [We all do, right?])
And I must say, although there have been some really tough trials and challenges along the way, it has shaped me into who I am today. I can honestly say that I am proud of who I have become and who I continue to be shaped into.
(Shout out to my wonderful husband and amazing family who deserve credit for helping along the way!)

Lets see what Denver has to offer....
Ever since I can remember I have been going to the Parade of Homes with my Mom. One of my favorite traditions I did with her. She was such a gifted interior designer and was so good at explaining why designers put this pattern with that and why they did a design a certain way. She taught me so much! [nothing like free education from the most gifted designer I know]
This tradition initially started off with my sister and I tagging along with my mom and grandma. Then it eventually became my mom, sister and me. My sister and I carried on the tradition after our mom passed away and we brought along our little sister for her to enjoy it with us. Now I get to continue the tradition with my own daughter and I am loving it!
Tren [the best husband ever] came along with Piper and I to the Denver parade of homes these last 2 weekends since I needed muscle to carry our 19 lb daughter around. [and I needed to point things out to him that I would like him to build - yes, I have it really good] Needless to say, we had a blast and now have tons of great ideas for our new home!
This was Piper's second Parade of Homes! We got to go with Aunt Shaline to the Utah County Parade earlier this summer!
Dad kept Piper so happy!
Piper loved every second with him!
The reaction I get when I tell Tren I would like him to build something that has a lot of finish work!
Happy girls
I had so much fun with my 2 favorite people! We now have lots of great ideas and we're ready to start on some projects!

5 months old
Look who is 5 months old
Tren and I just can't get enough of this girl! She is getting so big, so fast! It's amazing how time flies when you have a little one!
Little bit about Pip right now...
*She is 19 lbs (up 1 lb from last month)
*She is 27 in tall (same as last month)
*Wearing 6-9 month clothes
*Loves long walks outside
*Is so close to sitting up on her own
*Will smile and 'talk' to anybody who will give her attention
*She rolls around everywhere to get to where she needs to go. She will occasionally scoot on her belly but doesn't get too far (thank goodness)
*Our cats are built in babysitters. Pip will sit and watch them as long as they are within sight.
*Loves playing with her toys
*Piper is a morning person. She is all smiles when she wakes up and we love it!
*Pip's hair is coming in thicker and I love it!
*Has found that she can squeal at abnormally high pitches and now does it regularly!
*Loves watching the other kids on our play dates. I can't wait until she can start playing with them!
Needless to say, this girl is pretty dang loved!
