I have the most amazing husband EVER!! He spoiled me on my birthday!

Tren suprised me the night before my birthday with this gorgeous bouquet of flowers and then the next morning as I was getting ready for work he came in with these balloons and sang me Happy Birthday!

It was the perfect way to start my day! He gave me a gift card to a spa so I could pamper myself, along with Tim McGraw & Lady Antebellum concert tickets, and of course a fishing license since mine is always up on my birthday! Tren set up dinner at my FAVORITE ice cream place, Leatherby's, with both his and my family! It was so much fun!

Quick get away

St. George

You have got to love St George, especially when you are there while it's snowing back at home! :)

Tren had a football game down in St George a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun! It was a good reason to get away with our good friends! While Tren and the boys were golfing, me and Kim were shopping. It was great!

We took a quick trip to Mesquite! Here's me and my honey while we were there!

I tried to get a picture of Gary and Kim.. I couldn't stop laughing cuz the geese wouldn't leave them alone long enough for them to look at me for the picture.
Between shopping, Kim and I went to watch the Iron man competition!
These men were INCREDIBLE! They start off swimming 2.4 miles.. not bad, but then they bike 112 miles.. and then......

They get off their bikes after riding them forever and start running... yep, a WHOLE marathon! 26.2 miles... ok, can you say kill me now! This guy was taking the lead by like 16 minutes... I was very impressed! Did I mention they do this all in ONE day??

It was so fun! I can't wait to go back down there!

Kickball

Well folks.... kickball has started (ok, so I am a little behind on my blogging, it started over a month ago)

I know what you're thinking... kickball?? Isn't that what we played in elementary school? Yep, it is. Tren and I joined with a bunch of friends and it's been pretty fun despite the fact that our team is HORRIBLE!! But what do you expect when you haven't played for over 15 years.

We have made lots of great friends! They are a hoot to hang out with!

I absolutely LOVE puppies, I mean - who doesn't?... but I gotta be honest, I can't wait til he is out of his puppy stage! He is so time consuming... T and I now know for a fact that kids are being post poned even longer LOL

Even though he's a ton of work -- we absolutely LOVE deisel!

Today I turn the big 25

... I don't know why, but I have been super excited for this birthday!

I finally feel like an adult! LOL

I may not always act like one, but I definitely feel like one!

Tren has been so good to me!

Its that time of year!

Well folks, I can't even tell you how ready I am to get this garden going!

T and I borrowed my dad's tiller (thanks dad) -- we finally have our soil close to where we want it.

When we moved in, the soil was HORRIBLE! Lot's of clay -- it was no good for a garden!

Tren's workin it with the tiller!

He looks so good doing it! :)

My mother-in-law is a genious with planting pots!

I am going to try it this year! We'll see how it goes!

Thank goodness she is a phone call away!

Going shooting

Sean has been begging Tren to take him shooting for a LONG time now. So, for his birthday, we decided this would be a great gift.

We had a lot of fun! After a long lesson on gun safety (Tren is really good about that) it was time for Sean to try his hand at shooting.

It was my turn! I was a little rusty, but did a pretty good job!

Sean tried out the 7mm Remington Mag -- that's one heck of a gun compared to the 22 we were shooting! It scared the crap out of me when I shot it! I was not prepared for the kick! Tren was good about helping Sean.
