The day after returning from Utah for Thanksgiving, we piled back into the truck to go out to find our Christmas tree. We headed up to the beautiful mountains.
This was Piper's first time and she did great! The sun was shining and it was pretty warm if we stayed in the sun. Luckily this girl loves it outside, so we could have taken all day and I don't think she would have minded.

We found our tree after about an hour or two of searching. Piper must have been excited because she planted a big wet one on me while Tren was taking the picture. I love her kisses!
We have fantastic vaulted ceilings in our new home, so we decided to take advantage of them and brought home a tall tree. This bad boy is 11 ft tall. This picture gives you an idea of how tall it really was. Thank goodness for ladders!
We had a blast this year cutting our tree in Colorado. We loved spending the afternoon finding ONE tree (rather than the 10 plus trees we would cut back in Utah for everyone).
