South Jordan Country Fest

This year Tren and I went with my family to the South Jordan Country Fest to support my younger siblings in the mutton busting, cash cow and greased pig events. It was so much fun watching them! I have got to say, I think I was the loudest one in the crowd!
(how embarrassing for them)
Here is Brindyn with her favorite brother in law :)
She couldn't get enough of Tren
Me and my older sister Shaline
We were ready with the camera's out! She has a WAY NICE camera and got some GREAT shots! I am going to post a few as soon as I get them from her!

Dannion was the only one young enough to do the mutton bustin this year. He did great! He was a little disappointed he didn't ride the sheep longer, but he was a good sport and won some cash doing it.
His face plant off the sheep was great! I think Shaline got a good shot of it! He was so tough - NO TEARS! Brindyn was such a proud big sister!

It was a little obvious the kids in my family don't get sugar all that often. I totally gave in and bought a carton of Dreyer's Ice cream... it's a good thing we grabbed extra spoons because it was gone in minutes! Even my dad was eating it. I had to get a picture!
Sean did so good at the cash cow! He came so close a ton of times, but he did walk away with some cash! Good job Sean!
It was the younger kids turn next. It was hilarious watching A TON of kids chase the cows! No luck for Brindyn and Dannion this time! They still did great!
Sean did the greased pig! He caught him pretty quick but the slippery little guy got away from Sean and a bunch of kids quickly jumped on him and caught him. Bummer for Sean... but at least he walked away with a good story!

We were just getting ready to head when the announcer invited all the adults into the arena to try their hand at catching the greased pig. Me and my dad couldn't resist. Here we go.....
Yep, that's my dad! He totally got him SUPER quick with NO help! It was a little obvious that my dad is a farm boy!
I love this picture! I can't even tell you how proud I was of my dad! He did great and won a nice cash prize!

We had so much fun! T and I can't wait until next year!
